Programmable Time-Switch, PTS-8D64

PTS-8D64 is a microcontroller based programmable time-switch with 64 daily program storage capacity for controlling 8 numbers of loads. Each load can be switched on & off automatically at predefined times. The resolution of programtime is 1 minute.

Times can be programmed for 24 hours starting from 00:00 Hour to 23:59 Hours. All programs will repeat after 24 hours. A special feature has been added to this time-switch for switching street lights, neon signs, hoarding and other loads at night and morning for winter and summer. Offset times can be programmed for switching of lights in winter. In winter evening, loads can be programmed to switch on earlier. Similarly in winter morning, loads can be programmed to switch off later. The internal real time clock will continue operation in the absence of mains power. The programs are stored in non volatile memory. This has made the time-switch practically crash proof due to interruption of mains power. Each power interruption will be efficiently handled by the microcontroller to restore the perfect load condition at the time of power resume without any error. For sensitive electrical equipment, an initial delay can be programmed to prevent rapid on-off due to power malfunction.

A 16 characters X 2 lines alphanumeric LCD display is provided for view/edit programs, time and load conditions. Programs and real time clock can be set through front panel keys.
